Auglaize Industries, Inc.
Auglaize Industries, Inc. is a modern workshop built in New Bremen in 1988 for the purpose of providing vocational training and work opportunities for adults with disabilities. There are currently 130 adult employees of Auglaize Industries who earn wages by performing contract work (assembly, packaging, drilling and tapping, microfilming, and collating) for most of Auglaize County's larger companies. Once trained, employees are encouraged to seek work opportunities within the community through Auglaize Industries' Community Employment Program. An evening and weekend recreation program complements the vocational program. Auglaize Industries is open throughout the year, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
