Seasonal Employment

Applications for seasonal employment are accepted all year long. The application can be found below. Examples of seasonal employment include all positions at the City swimming pool and laborer positions in various departments during the summer months.

With the exception of seasonal applications, the City of St. Marys only accepts applications for employment when there is a vacancy posted. At such time, employment applications may be downloaded below or can be obtained at the Municipal Building.

DISPATCHER

The City of St. Marys is accepting applications for a full-time Police Department Dispatcher.  Hours are 1 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday or 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (2 week rotation).  Forty-two hour workweek. Position is responsible for sending and receiving messages via radio, telephone, and teletype and performing a variety of specialized clerical duties.  Must be skilled in Word, typing, and data entry.  High school diploma required.  Wage range $18.79-$21.14/hour.  Application is available below.
